Bloom Period Care
A Torrens University project by Grace Anne Bobadilla
Brand Design • Brand Identity • Packaging Design
The Brief
Develop a physical 3D prototype of a branded product and packaging, using existing materials easily accessible to you. To complement your package design, develop 2 (two) merchandising opportunities based on the customer experience. These can be in-situ mock-ups using existing design elements you have created.
Through high-quality (high-resolution) images and text, show and describe how your new finished packaging design works for the product and meets the consumer’s needs.
my approach
This entire brand reflects a heart for women’s health and confidence while maintaining ethical and sustainable standards. By tapping into consumers’ subconscious desires and emotions consumers, designers can create packaging and user experiences that truly resonate with their target audience. It can generate positive emotions within people and raise awareness to protect our environment’s finite resources. This is the power of packaging that is so understated yet impactful. Bloom was shaped by relevant needs and issues that women face in context with period care because a user-centred focus in product design increases the level of innovation, reduces costs and improves overall quality. The design thinking framework was crucial in this process – from initial analysis to final synthesis – and turned my project into a tangible brand with quality products and packaging worth people’s investment.
