the brief.
Create a series of new and visually interesting letter-mark combinations, using the initials of your first and last name, as a basis for the design. From these, you will choose your favourite concept that will form the basis of your own personal brand.
Typography is an art form of design and communication through type, and this lettermark project was a great exercise in challenging my creative processes. I went through integral stages of the creative process: research, thumbnail sketches, feedback, refinement and finalising for delivery. Along the way, I did my best to incorporate design principles from my learning this trimester. I learned many lessons I hope to improve and sharpen as I continue this creative journey. The final product is a lettermark that reflects my creativity, personality and identity.
